Then, when you contact them, you discover that there are extras, additional fees, you discover that "Oh, that was a mistake", and so on. In short, 9 times out of 10, the rate is not that written on the ad.
We are different.
When we say that you will pay 30 EUR per night (single room) or 50 EUR per night (double room) we REALLY mean that.
And that's exactly our AUGUST 2008 OFFER: 30 EUR per night (50 EUR for the double room, meaning 25 per person), with the only extra being the 10 EUR for the "departure cleaning fee", that will be added to the total bill.
If, for example, you are a couple and you are staying for one night, you would pay 50+10 = 60 EUR.
And if you stay for 2, 5, 10 nights, you would pay 100+10, 250+10 or 500+10: meaning that the 10 EUR is charged only once, regardless of the lenght of your stay, and not once for every night.

For the month of August, we offer a spacious and sunny room for the special price of 30 EUR (single) or 50 EUR (double) per night. The room is fully furnished, as you can see in the pictures, and is available as a single or as a double.
The room is in our apartment, in the centrally located neighborhood of Old Monteverde, at walking distance to the Trastevere Station, a central and safe area on the slopes of the worldwide known Janiculum Hill, and at just one train stop to Saint Peter's (length of train trip: 3 or 4 minutes).

Our guests will enjoy the intimacy of a private (non-shared!) bathroom with bath-tub and shower. And it's good to know that the bathroom is professionally cleaned and sterilyzed before every new arrival.

You may also be happy to know - if you are travelling with your computer - that you can have free access to our Internet connection directly inside your room (and that's already included in the price).

Our area is very well linked to the rest of town (we don't even have a car, because we simply don't need it). A few examples:
- Old Trastevere area: just five minutes by tram, or twenty minutes by feet (and that's a nice and romantic walk).
- Saint Peter's and the Vatican: less than five minutes by train.
- Porta Portese Flea Market: less than ten minutes by feet (open only on Sundays).
- Coliseum and Foro Romano: fifteen minutes by train and metro.
- Campo dei Fiori and Piazza Navona area: between twelve and fifteen minutes by tram number 8.

The cleaning of the room is NOT included: we will add 10 EUR to the total bill, as a contribution for the professional "post-departure cleaning".

Check-out time is at 10.30am (but we are usually flexible about that, when we are not waiting for new guests on the very same day).

We feel we need to inform our guests that two cats and a tiny puppy (a three months Yorkshire terrier) live in our house. Our furry pals are never allowed into the bedrooms, but people with allergies should be aware of their presence in the apartment.

Our rates are already extremely competitive (single: 45 EUR/night , double, 70 EUR/night), but we decided to make a SPECIAL OFFER for the month of August:
